Bringing new life to a Historical Victorian gem on Lansdowne Ave
This original Victorian gem, located in the heart of Deer Park just a short walk to several shops, was a renovation filled with charm and history. We wanted to preserve as much of the original character as possible while modernizing the overall aesthetic. Once we hauled away a lot of trash and stripped back overgrown vegetation, we discovered the real potential this diamond in the rough had.
We refinished the original hardwood throughout the house, replaced all the windows and the water heater, updated the electric and plumbing, gave the interior and exterior a fresh coat of paint, and waterproofed the walkout basement. The first-floor laundry, large master bedroom, kitchen, and bathrooms also got a nice refresh as well. Outside we updated the fenced in backyard and professionally landscaped the entire yard to accentuate the spacious wrap-around porch.
